Tosca is nominated for 'Best Opera Production' of 2011 in the Irish Times Awards
Puccini's Tosca was the first full scale production for Northern Ireland Opera. This production was 'site specific' in three locations across Derry/Londonderry. The performances involved the singers, orchestra and audience moving between the three venues – Act I at St Columb's Cathedral, Act II at The Guildhall and Act III at St Columb's Hall.
Tosca was directed by Northern Ireland Opera's Artistic Director Oliver Mears.
The Awards take place on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin.
